What this event is about:
 
Validate autonomous driving functions in the lab with full-scene radar emulation. Automotive radar sensors are critical to the future of self-driving vehicles and testing them is crucial to vehicle and passenger safety.
 
This face-to-face live seminar will review technical challenges and solutions for radar sensor validation and provide a demonstration of Keysight's award winning radar scene emulator (RSE) test solution. Topics to be covered in this seminar include:
 
   •  3-D simulation and critical scenarios
   •  Drive test data acquisition and ADAS HIL integration
   •  Advantages of high-resolution radar

Presenters:

Aaron Newman
AV Business Development Manager, Keysight Technologies

Aaron Newman is one of Keysight’s Business Development Managers focusing on autonomous vehicle technologies. Aaron graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics. After serving as a Nuclear Engineer in the US Navy, Aaron has spent 28 years helping companies and institutions solve test and measurement challenges. Aaron currently works out of the Keysight’s Automotive Customer Center in Novi, Michigan.

 
Akshay Sheorey
Business Development Manager for Autonomous Vehicle Solutions, Siemens Industry Software 
 

Akshay Sheorey is the Business Development Manager for Autonomous Vehicle Solutions at Siemens Industry Software, where he is responsible for deploying the digital twin through simulation and test for Autonomous Vehicle development. Akshay has more than 15 years’ experience in helping clients adopt and deploy advanced simulation-based product design processes. He is focused on model-based development, AV / ADAS System simulation with controls integration, and AV Systems testing. Prior to Siemens, he worked with MSC Software, focusing on vehicle dynamics and controls. Akshay has a M.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as an MBA from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

 

Jeff Buterbaugh
Account Executive, Konrad Technologies 

Jeff Buterbaugh has been an account executive at Konrad Technologies since 2018. He has a PhD in analytical chemistry from The Ohio State University and has nearly 25 years of experience specifying measurement and automation solutions in a variety of roles and spanning multiple industries and application domains. His areas of focus have included sound and vibration, structural health monitoring, machine vision, medical device test, jet engine test and (most recently) ADAS applications.
