Testing and Debugging Automotive Signals Using an Oscilloscope

This workshop will provide an extensive hands-on experience to test and debug automotive designs and other signals using some of the advanced features and measurement capabilities of Keysight’s InfiniiVision 4000 X-Series Oscilloscope. Class sizes are limited to allow for 2-3 individuals per test station, so every participant will be able to experience the value of these oscilloscopes.
This workshop will cover the following:
- InfiniiVision 4000 X-Series oscilloscope overview
- Making measurements and using handy triggers
- Decoding I2C & SPI signals
- Decoding and triggering on the CAN bus at a hexadecimal level and using a .dbc file to symbolically decode and trigger on the CAN bus at a message and signal level
- Using segmented memory acquisition to capture multiple and consecutive errors
- Dual-bus “gateway” analysis (CAN and LIN
