What this event is about:

From the Grid to the Road - Disruptive technologies for electric vehicles (EVs) need innovative design and test solutions. This seminar will discuss the following key areas for EV development and adoption:
  • EV Charging Interoperability: The future of EVs depends on the expansion and utilization of the charging infrastructure. The diversity of EVs and supply equipment, along with multiple charging standards causes issues at an ever-increasing rate. This section will review proper conformance and interoperability testing for progressing the EV ecosystem.
  • Regenerative Power Supplies and Grid Power Emulation: Having clean and efficient power is critical for accurate testing. This session will discuss the features, benefits, safety, and value that smart high power bi-directional, regenerative AC / DC emulators (sources and loads) provide for many aspects of EV testing.
  • EV Battery Testing: With the demand to bring electric vehicles to market now moving up exponentially, getting there faster to take market share is no longer an option….it is a requirement. This presentation covers the best testing methods to assure that you are producing and providing the best batteries possible for all applications of battery cells, modules, and pack level testing.
